Social Integration
This program is an endeavor of Centre of Inclusive Care to engage children in a motivational drive, during school hours, to inculcate healthy and inclusive social practices in their environment.
A group of parents were trained to help develop not only social skills in children with special needs but also to develop an environment of understanding and acceptance among peers in school environment and other social environments. It is our hope and aspiration that this pilot project will work as a model frame work for other similar projects where parents can be a part of something that is close to their heart and will cause a ripple effect in creating opportunities for a more inclusive society!
Interweave
This training certificate course is based on learning content from an entirely experiential and relational stance that leads to the understanding that the Relationship is itself the therapy.

Empowering Minds
CIC in collaboration with the Care Foundation has initiated this project. The aim of the project is to address the lack of interest in continuing education specifically in Grades 9’s and 10’s. The counselling services are provided to students in groups so their issues can be discussed in smaller groups and a safe and confidential environment.
In addition to this support are the career counselling sessions aimed at providing the students insights about different fields they can choose after their graduation. Guidance will be provided regarding skill enhancement and various institutions where they can go for courses or diplomas.
The project aims to involve parents of students to address their apprehensions and plans for their children. The project has its focus on the issues of students who often drop out of school because of unclear future plans or lack of motivation given their economic conditions.
The parents and teachers also benefit from the programme as they will be more equipped to support and prevent their children from giving up on their dreams and pursuing something attainable and within their reach.

Healthy Athletes- Special Olympics Pakistan
We through our collaboration with Special Olympics Pakistan are trying to take Awareness, Education and Counselling initiatives. The Programme has been developed to address the Mental Health and well being of parents and their children in collaboration with Healthy Athletes Programme of Special Olympics Pakistan. Stress is common in any family. But in a special needs family, it is alarmingly common. In fact, many parents suffer from post-traumatic stress and health problems secondary to stress. Parenting a child with special needs brings with it many additional challenges–compared to parenting a “neurotypical” child– such as behavioral problems, educational issues, additional financial pressures and the effect on siblings, to name a few. There is lack of awareness about issues the children with special needs are going through and little empathy from the social environment and as a result parents may feel hopeless. The Centre of Inclusive Care will take a systemic approach and use an experiential method of creating empathy within the community. The work will involve conceptual theories, provide knowledge and new insights and will provide skills to participants that will help them deal with their children or children within their community to be managed in a way where opportunity to reach their full potential is explored.
Project Imdad
Imdaad is specially designed to cater to people in the helping professions in high stress positions so they, in turn, can make a greater difference in the lives of those who need their assistance.
Project Imdad
Imdaad is specially designed to cater to people in the helping professions in high stress positions so they, in turn, can make a greater difference in the lives of those who need their assistance. We hope to be pioneers in this area of work in our country. The Centre of Inclusive Care team aims to help health care professionals understand:
• The difference between sympathy and empathy, compassion fatigue, and vicarious trauma and secondary traumatic stress.
• How to develop a deeper understanding of the feelings they are absorbing from their work place and the ways in which these emotions might be affecting other aspects of their lives.
• How to work with roadblocks when they are feeling stuck.
• The importance of self-care.
• The kind of support they need and where to get it.
As a recent update Project Imdad has renewed it’s efforts in response to the dedication and selflessness with which our Frontline Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics are working. Centre of Inclusive Care joins hands with Shifaam to offer our support in the battle with COVID-19.

This training certificate course is based on learning content from an entirely experiential and relational stance that leads to the understanding that the Relationship is itself the therapy. The course will train you to deeply understand how our interaction and perception about children becomes a part of their Self-Concept. By accessing our inner child and knowing ourselves better we are able to be role models and create effective systems that hold children in a healthy, safe and exploratory space.
